Camber Development, a newly formed Boston-based real estate investor and operator, has closed its first six investments in Greater Boston. Working with Camber’s strategic joint venture partner Wheelock Street Capital, the properties total more than $200 million of value and over one million square feet of highly functional and well-located industrial and life science facilities.

Brand Atlantic Real Estate Partners in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital has closed on the acquisition of 301 Clematis St and 300 Banyan Blvd in downtown West Palm Beach for the planned development of two mixed-use buildings that will include 140,000 square feet of Class A office, 15,000 square feet of ground-floor restaurant and retail, and a 300-space parking garage.

Wheelock Street Capital announced it has acquired Perry Lane Hotel, a member of Marriott’s Luxury Collection brand, a 167-room soft-branded, luxury hotel located at 256E Perry Street in Savannah, GA. Purpose built in 2018, the hotel features two 5-story towers featuring 167 guestrooms, including 12 suites, over 9,000 square feet of event space, three distinct food & beverage outlets along with rooftop terrace & pool and more than 1,200 distinct objects and works of art.

Wheelock Street Capital announced it has acquired 242 Westfork Court in Lithia Springs, GA, a 86,630 square foot light‐industrial building that was completed in Summer 2020 and is located less than three miles from Austell Norfolk Southern Intermodal Terminal. The building gives local, regional, and national users quick access to Metro Atlanta and the Southeast and features available space ranging between 20,000 and 86,630‐square feet.

The Seyon Group (“Seyon”), in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital (“Wheelock”), announced it has acquired 10 Dan Road and 20 Dan Road – located within the Canton Commerce Center, one of Route 128 South’s most dominant industrial parks. The park benefits from the adjacent Route 138 commercial corridor, which provides tenants with a plethora of amenities including retail, restaurant and day care facilities.

Wheelock Street Capital (“Wheelock”), a Greenwich, Connecticut and Boston, Massachusetts based national real estate private equity firm, in partnership with Mitchell Property Realty, Inc., a leading private real estate investment and development firm located in South Florida, acquired the fully leased industrial asset. This is the first acquisition the partners have completed
together.

JLL announces that it has arranged a $61 million refinancing for Hyatt House Fulton Market, a 200-room, newly constructed hotel in Chicago’s Fulton Market District. JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, a partnership between Sterling Bay and Wheelock Street Capital, to place the five-year, floating-rate loan with Argentic Real Estate Investments LLC. Loan proceeds will be used to retire the construction loan.

Griffin Partners, Inc. in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital announces the purchase of 4414 Hollister, a Class B in-fill 25’+ clear industrial project totaling 234,315 square feet including 3.0 acres of developable land in Houston, Texas. The Project was purchased from Georgia Pacific Inc. The asset is located 1/4 mile north of Hempstead Highway off Hollister Road, approximately 1 mile south of Hwy. 290 just outside Loop 610.
