Wheelock Street Capital and Sterling Bay partnership successfully refinances the new Hyatt House hotel in the Fulton Market submarket of Chicago

JLL announces that it has arranged a $61 million refinancing for Hyatt House Fulton Market, a 200-room, newly constructed hotel in Chicago’s Fulton Market District. JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, a partnership between Sterling Bay and Wheelock Street Capital, to place the five-year, floating-rate loan with Argentic Real Estate Investments LLC. Loan proceeds will be used to retire the construction loan.

Joint Venture Partnership Closes on 14.7 Acre Industrial Property in Houston, TX

Griffin Partners, Inc. in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital announces the purchase of 4414 Hollister, a Class B in-fill 25’+ clear industrial project totaling 234,315 square feet including 3.0 acres of developable land in Houston, Texas. The Project was purchased from Georgia Pacific Inc. The asset is located 1/4 mile north of Hempstead Highway off Hollister Road, approximately 1 mile south of Hwy. 290 just outside Loop 610.

Wheelock Street Capital, in partnership with Griffin Partners, acquires Loop Central office complex in Houston, TX

Houston-based Griffin Partners has acquired the Loop Central office complex in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital from Dallas-based TIER REIT. Loop Central consists of three buildings totaling nearly 575,000 square feet in the 4800 block of Loop Central Drive. The multi-acre site, just south of Westpark inside Loop 610, is accessible to the West University and Bellaire neighborhoods without getting on a highway.
